The Johnson County Art Guild's (JCAG) mission is to promote growth of art appreciation among its members and the general public through education activities, including, but not limited to, instructional programs, art demonstrations, lectures, class instruction, and public display of works of art.

Membership is open to any person interested in raising the cultural level in the field of visual arts.  You and/or your family may join at any meeting.  Annual dues - Individual $25.00, Family $35.00 and Student $10.00.

The Johnson County Art Guild meets the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.  Please see our calendar for meeting location and program.  No meetings in January, July and August. Visitors are always welcome to JCAG meetings and activities.

In addition, JCAG provides a showplace for individual art.  A mini show is hosted by the membership at each monthly meeting.  Members exhibit and demonstrate their art on the second Saturday of each month at the Wright Plaza, 115 S. Main Street in Cleburne.

A college schloarship is awarded annually to a qualifying Johnson County High School senior whose college major will be art.  Additionally, art supplies for children are donated each Christmas to a local charitable organization.
